Ramy is a Principal with Khosla Ventures focusing on early stage opportunities in IT and Cleantech.  Prior to joining Khosla Ventures, Ramy led the enterprise engineering group at Tellme Networks since the company’s inception in 2000 until its acquisition by Microsoft in 2007.  At Tellme, Ramy led the development and launch of over 30 products and helped grow revenues from 0 to $120M in four years.  Ramy also held a brief stints working at McKinsey&Company in Dubai advising clients on sustainable real estate development in the gulf.

Ramy holds a Bachelors and Masters in Computer Science from Harvard and an MBA from Stanford where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar. He is the author of a number of patents in voice application development and the co-founder of the Harvard Arab Alumni Association. When not working with startups, Ramy tries to keep busy by sailing a 30-foot Catalina in the San Francisco bay.
